Post-structuralism does not entirely support or explain gender inequality in the South African context. For instance, using this theory, I have opinions against the homogenizing folks’ conditions as well as situations. Particularly, I admit that the post-1994 transformation agenda concerning the streamlining of previous fragmentation and segregation of the higher education circumstance on the apartheid rule. Black women, who are the key target in the context of South Africa suffered triple marginalization in social class, race, and sexism. There are some tensions that have muffled the achievement of gender equality and equity; efficiently broadening the gender gaps of post-1994 South African higher education. Lastly, we should never take slight phrases like “Equal Opportunity” and “Equal Access” in policies.
