Question 1

Feminism is an ideology aimed at genuinely improving the lives of modern women, based on the belief that men and women have equal rights in all aspects of society.

Question 2

Feminist research differs from standard research in terms of methodology. It actively attempts to eliminate the power imbalance between researcher and subject; it is politically oriented. It seeks to alter societal injustice, and it starts with women’s perspectives and experiences.

Question 3

  • It is important to look at the motivations underlying politicians’ ideological declarations of principle (Birnbaum, et al., 2021). Despite the failure of political institutions that labelled themselves as Marxist such as the Soviet Union, the Marxist study of ideology has a lot of worth.
  • Liberalism is a political philosophy. It claims to represent a universal set of ‘true’ ideals suited for all individuals in all cultures, not only in liberal societies, as do other ideologies.
