Alteration of the environment by human beings through some actions and activities propagated by their attitude toward the environment can hamper ways of keeping the environment clean and habitable to human being. Such negative attitudes includes disposal of waste materials in water bodies such as oceans and lakes, this does not only affects the sea animals but also affect human being who consume the contaminated water. Disposal of waste to the water bodies leads to death of sea animals and humans who consume the water also get sick.

Release of industrial gases to the air, this through mining and factory productions. The gases leads to global warming which affects the environment. Global warming leads to overheating making the environment unfavorable for humans to survive at. Release of gases also lead to pollution of the environment.
