The mechanism, however, is not without challenges. This is based on the question of who stands to gain the most from the process. The answer regarding the challenges and opportunities of online classes is however hinged on demographic factors such as gender, level of education, faculty of study, parent's or guardian's employment status, family or household's socioeconomic status, the total number of persons living in the household. The aim of this paper is thus to examine the perception of student's challenges experienced concerning online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
