Why do we study Sociology? What are the main three factors that play an important role in the development of Human Behavior? Discuss all of them in detail with the help of examples in your own words.
Sociology is important because it helps in solving social and international problems, gives better perspective into crime, and helps in the study of institutional roles and in the
understanding and planning of society. Human behavior is divided into three dimensions that are social, biological, andpsychological development. These three dimensions of human development interact to create thepersonality and identity of an individual. The first dimension is the Biological development, which is what determines human behavior and physiological factors of persons. One of thesecharacteristics is heredity and genetics, which are some of the factors that determine humanbehavior, besides the DNA that is probably the more important factor determining our genetic composition. The biological dimensions have a considerable influence on the capacity in whichindividuals interact with everyday living; this is about as developed at the physical level. If aperson has or born with a genetic disability, it will be a difficulty to them interact with theirsurroundings on a personal level. The psychological dimensions of a person influence anindividual's understanding of the world around them defines how a person can perform in society and how they see their surroundings. The social dimensions of a person influence how theperson communicates with other individuals around. These three perspectives work collectivelyto determine a person is, and that person will become.
