outbreak, spread and consequences of Covid-19 in Ghana can be explained using
evolutionary perspective theory of social change

1. Social distancing. the outbreak of Covid-19 in Ghana has led to the mandatory social distancing of at least 1.5 metres from one another. in the practical sense this will help in the disruption of the distribution of the Covid-19 virus.
2. Staying at hoe or working from home. Covid-19 came with the country being on mandatory lock-down and people were supposed to work from home. this social change has had a lot of economic impacts on the economy and livelihood of the people of Ghana, because working from home home there is no supervision thus very low input and this leads to low outputs.
3. Washing of hands and Sanitizing. The outbreak of Covid-19 in Ghana has led to the behavioral change on how people used to wash their hands. the use of alcohol based sanitizers has increased tremendously than before. the purchase of these hand sanitizers has had an impact to the low income earners in Ghana due to the higher prices and their constant use.this has led to life of people to be more hard and unbearable.
4. Wearing of masks. Wearing of masks is aimed at reducing the risk of contracting the virus by almost 90%. The behavior of the people has changed since the outbreak of the Covid-19 in Ghana. People are now supposed to have their masks on when they are going out to the public places while maintaining 1.5 meter from one another.
