Culture is the way of life of people in various societies. There are various characteristics of culture, which include; culture is shared, it is dynamic, it is learned, culture takes time to form, culture is crucial, and culture is transmitted from one generation to another. The characteristic of culture affects people in a rural area in different ways. First, culture in rural areas makes people come together because they share common values. In rural areas, there is a value system that is relational and communitarian. The system of values is found in peasant villages, ethnic neighborhoods, agricultural communities, and tribal communities. The interaction in the rural is that of the continuous relationship among kins and friends. The characteristics of culture also enhance communities to be more emotional and socially supportive. In the rural setup, people have a sense of belonging secure together. Because of culture, the, relationship in the rural areas are those of fellowship and genuine affection to one another because of the shared characteristics.
