The main contributing factor to the development of new social patterns is the development of technology. The contemporary society is technology-driven, where the majority of individual awareness activities are carried out. This, in the long run, has contributed to change in the social organization. With respect to this therefore, technology offers new and improved opportunities for social progress which people willingly venture into. Responsively, people develop new forms of organizations and patterns to exploit these new and improved opportunities. The development of these forms of organizations often takes a long time as people have to shift from the existing patterns and organizations gradually.
