Culture had been defined as a what is meant by " practice of believes and values. Briefly explain Culture involves patterns of perception and values with practical examples of how you learned your culture .
It is essential to understand that a person's culture forms part of their personal identity. Culture influences perception as it directly influences how an individual views and understands the world. This is directly associated with the fact that culture informs on all aspects of one’s life influencing language, religion, and thought processes. Culture influences our perception of the world by inherently affecting our selection, organization and processing of information. In this case, our selection, organization, and processing of information is influenced by our cultural blinds which essentially influence our opinions, attitudes, views, and ideologies (DeNora, 2014).One important factor to understand is that culture and perception are inextricably linked. It is through people's cultures that they view and understand the people around them and the world. Culture defines a person; it pertains to their internal beliefs, values, and practices. For instance, in my culture, it is paramount to put chicken seasoning blend, especially when making fried chicken. This has affected my food tastes and preferences as I am more inclined to order food with a lot of spices. Culture has inherently affected the practice of our personal values by distinctly establishing a boundary on what is acceptable or not. It has led to the development of guidelines that shape how an individual thinks and interacts with the rest of the community.
