A Whole School Approach to Discipline can be operated at three levels, i.e. the student, the classroom and the school level.

The best approach to school discipline in south Africa is classical approach. This is because classical approach is a history-based, idea-oriented educational model that exposes students to the great minds of the past through literature, essays, and philosophy. It has also been successfully used to educate students for hundreds of years and has produced many of history's great minds.
