Industrial Psychology is a unit which is not only supposed to be taught to employees at the workplace but also to the community/family members who stay with these employees so that the family/community may understand the kind of life experiences which these employees go through their work environment both mental, physical, emotional and psychological so that they may understand them better and co-exist thus helping them to cope with work-life balance and reduce the sad state of the current affairs where work frustrated employees take their work bitterness, depression and stress to the community and specifically their families with some of them killing their family first then committing suicide as witnessed in the present occurrences in the family. With this in mind by use of relevant case examples, explain the place/role of Industrial Psychology in Human Resource Management in trying to secure a productive all-round healthy workforce. (15marks).
