Rising and implementing good communication skills are an important skill that public relations must have. This involves the use of both verbal and non-verbal communication when delivering messages and for effective transmission of information. Effective communication helps people to understand better as well as overcome diversities, and provide conditions whereby sharing of creative ideas and solving problems is enhanced.

verbal communication in this case as a public relations student would come in handy in that , if I am eloquent and audible enough, I will be able to clearly pass my message to my audience without the problem of some of my audience could not decipher the message because of y delivery.

On the other hand, when using non-verbal communication skills, I would employ non-verbal techniques like keeping eye contact with my audience to enhance their attentiveness. Being at a time of digital era, and trying to instill information that is critical for the new generation, it would be important to ensure that all my audience is paying attention. Similarly, I would as well employ techniques such as use of graphics that captures attention such as the use of chalkboards or projector with interesting animations that entertain while still passing the message.
