Humanistic, cognitive, and behavioral components of psychology are primarily addressed by schools of thought. These have a substantial impact on psychological knowledge; the three components share a common base and beliefs in psychology; yet, the approaches differ since each is independent and teaches psychology topics differently. Because it focuses on information processing, learning, and cognitive teaching methods, the cognitive school of thought employs a variety of methods; on the other hand, the behavioral school of thought emphasizes contiguity, operant conditioning, observational learning, and behavioral teaching methods. Humanistic teaching methods and views are used by the humanistic school of thought.Individual free choice, personal progress, and the concept of self-actualization were the focus of humanistic psychology instead. While early schools of thought focused mostly on deviant human behavior, humanistic psychology placed a greater emphasis on assisting people in realizing and realizing their full potential.
