What parts of our bodies do we rely upon when gathering empirical evidence?

Would you consider your day to day living experience and observations as part of empirical evidence? Why?

a)We rely on all the body senses when gathering empirical evidence. The eyes are the most crucial since they help see and capture most experiences and information. The ears help to gather evidence through hearing. The limbs are also vital parts as they help in the sense of touch. The nose is used to smell; it collects evidence and information about the smell of different things. The tongue is also essential part because it helps in tasting different things hence capturing evidence in that line.


b)I will not classify my daily observations as empirical evidence because I don’t engage in experimentation and strict analysis of data. Therefore the majority of things I do cannot qualify to be empirical evidence because they are just thoughts and observations which are not tested. I will need to used scientific methods and tools for them to qualify to be empirical evidence.
