Structuralism emphasizes the structure of the mind based on consciousness and units of the mind like sensation and perception. On the other hand, functionalism emphasizes the role of the mind and demonstrates why and how it functions.

Question 2

Sigmund Freud’s theories are controversial because of the theory of Oedipus complex and psychosexual development; he argued that children are born with sexual pleasure (libido). Sexual desires are the most significant motivation in his theories; the absence of cultural and social effects was also controversial.

Question 3

I would use behavioural learning perspectives because tits are based on how stimuli or environmental variables affect the person’s observable behaviours. According to this perspective, people learn from their environment
