Ethics is essential in public relations to build trust, lead the people and retain employees. Ethical behavior is one of the most critical aspects of public relations because publicity requires professional values such as expertise, honesty, building loyalty, independence, and fairness (Parsons, 2016). Besides, ethical behavior is vital in creating positive perceptions of a leader and increasing organizational commitment to positive cultures.
