Ken Wilber's endeavor to bring together a diverse range of theories and thinkers under a unified framework. It is portrayed as a theory of everything: the living Totality of matter, body, mind, soul, and spirit that attempts to bring together several disparate paradigms into a mutually enriching network of methods. Some have used Wilber's integral theory in a restricted number of disciplines. Ken Wilber attempted to reconcile eastern religious traditions with western structural stage theory, a set of psychological development models that describes human development as a series of phases (Jakonen,2021). Over time, Wilber's theories have become more encompassing, incorporating ontology, epistemology, and methodology. He relied on both Aurobindo's and Gebser's theories, as well as the writings of many other authors, to develop AQAL, or Aurobindo-Gebser-Aurobindo-Aurobindo-Aurobindo-Aurobindo-Aurobindo-Aurobindo-Aurobindo-Auro (All Levels, All Quadrants)
