Characteristics that make the context in the slides an example of group communication

Intrapersonal communication

-One individual is involved; we use language to reflect on our personal experiences and to talk ourselves through circumstances. For instance, the voice within you that says, Keep pushing. When you're putting your all into finishing a five-mile race, or when you're saying to yourself, “I can DO IT. Your society, local language, and world perspective all influence how you experience interaction with others.

Interpersonal communication

- This is usually done by two individuals and can vary from intimate and personal to formal and impersonal. You could be having a serious discussion with a loved one. On your walk home from work, you can strike up a chat with the patrol guard about weekend plans.

Group communication

-This is a dynamic process that involves a small group of people conversing. Three to eight people are considered to be in a group communication situation. The greater the group, the more likely it will split into smaller groups.

 Public communication,

- This is when a single person addresses a group of people. The speaker or writer may pose questions to the audience and engage them in a dialogue.

Mass communication

- It entails transmitting a single piece of information to a large group of people. It allows us to reach a vast number of people with our message, but it limits our capacity to personalize it to particular audiences groups, or individuals.
