Critically examines Freire's adult education model in modifying the psychological construct in free senior in Ghana
Based on Freire's AEM, the educational intervention had a beneficial impact on Health Belief Model (HBM) conceptions and, as a result, self-medication behaviors. At the stages of listening to issues, the psychological structures of HBM were influenced. At the action stage, self-medication was moderated by a joint formulation and evaluation of an action plan to achieve the behavioral targets.
