The three theories leering

           Leering is the act of looking at someone in a sexually attractive way. This behavior is mainly portrayed by boys who, more often than not, are the culprits of 'stripping' ladies they come across. It is majorly a concept of lust from one person of the opposite sex to the other. This kind of behavior is typically unpleasant to the subject, commonly leading to embarrassment and discomfort (Daniel & Bridges, 2010). Although some people are naturally fond of leering, there always are some drivers into this act. Some causes of leering are intrinsic while some are extrinsic, but people involved in the happen to be motivated more by their subjects than of their inner urges or feelings, as some people tend to believe. The factors that drive individuals to sexually be attracted to other people, especially from their opposite genders, are referred to as theories leering. Many theories exist, but three stands out as the most common and most practiced. (Fish, 2007)

           The first theory is the theory of the subject's physical appearance. People are judged more by their outward impressions more than their inner selves. This is because it's easier to realize the visible picture of a person than the inner one, which takes time to learn and is greatly influenced by the subject's willingness to disclose and most prone to bias (Littner, 1973). In this case, when a person dresses in a way that exposes their physical body appearance, especially private ones, the urge – sexual urge – by a guy from the opposite gender is more bound to be ignited with certainty (Daniel & Bridges, 2010). For this reason, commercial sex workers focus on dressing half-naked and putting on excessive beautification products like make-ups to stand out in a sexually lustful manner to grab the attention of their victims, who happen to be males; poor fellas (Gibbons, 2019).

           Sexual addiction of the victims of this vice of leering also is a big theory as to why. People caught up in the habitual urge to engage in sexual intimacy with the opposite sex fellows tend to be lusty in their social lifestyles (Littner, 1973). So, whenever they look at anyone from the opposite gender, they tend to be so quickly attracted to them (Littner, 1973). Under this theory, even somewhat decently clad individuals draw lusty thoughts to the victims of leering (Daniel & Bridges, 2010).

           Victims of fantasy form a category of people involved in leering under imagination. These are guys who have watched too many explicitly 'dirty' films, movies, and videos. This is why disclaimers are encouraged in the film, movie, and other content production sectors (Littner, 1973). The most common disclaimer relevant to the theories of leering is; "the content of this viewing is not suitable for people under the age of 'certain age'." Persons falling into a particular category of age, especially underage, tend to be negatively influenced by these contents into addictions and hallucinations. This theory has been given weight by psychologists who also offer a disclaimer that even adults may suffer the negative influence of explicit content (Gibbons, 2019).
