Development of self is the acquisition of skills to help an individual to develop physical, spiritual, personal, emotional and social health.
Self development involves personal feelings about oneself and other aspects,and their effectiveness in living.
Sociological perspective deals with self-esteem and connects with cognitive perspective which deals with the mental acts and the functioning of the brain.
Humanistic perspective focuses on the study of a person as a whole.
Psychodynamic perspective revolves around the unconscious mind, such as fear and wishes, which helps to shape one's life. One's self development relies on other people's view and the themselves, as well as what they want to be.
