Question a)
Intelligence can be described as human mental ability to be able to learn from the experiences, get adapted to prevailing situations, understanding and being able to handle abstract concepts and thereby using knowledge for once gain. It is a significant mental quality that I may say that is possessed by a few. Casting an eye on any university fraternity, such people are distinct and they may be identified by their trails. They would engage themselves with all the partying activities and all leisure activities available within the university and even participate more in extracurricular activities, but often they will never lose focus on academics which is the core business of their being in school. They will at all expenses get time compensate whatever class time they may have lost by going through what was thought in their absence. They will always ask their colleagues what was thought, get their notes updated and eventually being at par with their fellow course mates.
Intelligent students despite their participation in extracurricular activities and engagement in other leisure exercises, their academic grades still remains good if not the best. This is because these are people who will at any time ensure that they plan and balance all that they do, and above all they prioritize activities. Through such well and organize minds, intelligent people will do what is right at the right time, right place and with the right people. Therefore, without fear of contradiction I may say that intelligent people will always get engaged in all the university activities but at the end of it all they will be to achieve what took them to school as they plan and organize themselves well.
