We will consider a simple template for comparison of the file and breaking up of him name to pieces: name and expansion, dissociated from each other a point: .*[.].*$. Symbol . requires the special brackets, as a point is metacharacter, that evidently in this expression. Also we will mark final $; he is added in an order to provide plugging in expansion of all remain of line. For the exception of bat expansion: .*[.](?!bat$).*$.For the exception of bat and exe expansion:.*[.](?!bat$|exe$).*$
