  • Disk space: I would look for fast and unexpected consumption of disk space.
  • Speed: I would check for exceptionally slow running speed.
  • Missing files: I would know the computer is compromised if some files have been deleted unexpectedly.
  • Pop-ups: I would check for unexpected pop-up or pop-under windows.
  • Internet connection: I would check for unexpected connection of the computer to the internet.
