Let the mean of X be μ\mu

So, for the desecrate random variable (mean) =μ=E(x)=\mu = E(x)

Hence, E(x)=ΣxP(x)E(x)=\Sigma xP(x)

Variance of X,

Var(X)=σ2=ΣX2P(X)μ2\sigma^2=\Sigma X^2P(X) -\mu^2

Standard deviation (σ)=Var(X)(\sigma)= \sqrt{Var(X)}
