How do public administrators deal with the reality and legacy of the pandemic?
As per Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, Italy does have the third greatest number of deaths in the world, well after United States and the United Kingdom, with 31,368 deaths as of May 15, 2020. Italy was the first country in Europe to implement statewide measures to mitigate (social distancing, isolation of proven or cases reported, and school and university closures) that resulted in the countrywide halt of all non-essential output from late March to early May 2020.
