It can be done through collaboration and exchange of best practices, linking programs to the SDGs, linking the SDGs to each other, transcending innovation bubbles, and recognizing regional diversity. Proper water and sanitation are key for achieving the SDGs, including good health and gender equality. By managing our water sustainably, we are also able to better manage our production of food and energy and contribute to decent work and economic growth. Further, there should be the development of productive capabilities through improvement in infrastructure, agriculture, industry, manufacturing, and services sectors; Innovation, science, and technology; Upgrading value chains and empowerment of youth and women among others.
