Politics of environment
Environmental politics refers to both environmental politics (see also environmental policy) and an academic discipline of study that focuses on three key elements. At many geopolitical levels, the examination of public policymaking and execution affects the environment.

Purpose of Environmental Laws
The Environmental Protection Agency is responsible for enforcing all or parts of these rules to safeguard human health and the environment.
Implications of disobeying environmental laws
The majority of environmental law violations are punishable by fines and jail. A fine and/or jail are generally the consequences. The maximum penalty for offenses tried in a Magistrates' court is generally an unlimited fine and/or six months in jail.
