   In order to uphold a multi-cultural diversified workforce, several factors need to be considered. First, language barrier and cultural barriers need to be addressed. Since a team consists of workforce from different ethnic groups, a company needs to develop guidelines on the official language for the company to overcome hatred. Secondly, different cultural communication styles need to be factored in. communication is essential in every company and the style to be employed is very vital in managing employees to bring harmony. Thirdly, projects need to be planned around different time zones. This is crucial in handling virtual multicultural team. Time management applications need to be used here to manage time. Fourthly, allowing of prep time when the team requires it is essential in management of diversified workforce. If workers are not familiar with the language you have chosen to communicate, it is important to give them ample time to prep for a meeting. Additionally, it is good to be open to all cultures and their differences. This is the best way to show employees that you respect and appreciate them. One can go an extra mile to learn about a particular culture and its characteristics. Lastly, cross-cultural training should at times be organized. This goes a long way in improving workplace happiness and morale. The training should aim at minimizing stereotypes and prejudice as well as improving social skills. This all factors will help in upholding management of diversified workforce.
