Answer

If Y1and Y2 are two solutions of Schrodinger Wave equation then Since Schrodinger equation is linear in

Y= a1Y1 + a2Y2

the addition of two solutions of the equation is also a solution of the same equation.

This is possible according to postulates of Quantum mechanics.
