When firecracker burst in sky in one direction then why it's sound comes from different direction like if it Bursts in East then why it's sound comes from. west and east both direction mainly why from west

The sound, spreading from the point of explosion, meets obstacles on the way, from which it is reflected; the sounds coming from the "wrong" directions are the sounds of an explosion reflected from any obstacles (buildings, hills, trees).
