2. You wear a seat belt for safety in an accident on road.......what hapened according to newton and which law of newton is applicable on it.

According to Newton's first law of motion, an object either stays at rest or keeps moving at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. Collision brings a car to sudden stop. At the same time, bodies of unfastened people inside continue moving, until they are acted upon by a stopping force, exerted by a steering wheel, dashboard, windshield etc.However, if they are fastened, the stopping force will be exerted by the seat belts, causing incomparably smaller damage.
