vb=5.0m/sv_b=5.0\:\rm m/s

vp=1.5m/sv_p=1.5\:\rm m/s

(a)

Vr=vp=1.5m/sV_r=v_p=1.5\:\rm m/s

(b)

Vr=vb+vp=5.0+1.5=6.5m/sV_r=v_b+v_p=5.0+1.5=6.5\:\rm m/s
