Weight is a force with which a body is acting on the surface where it is resting. In our situation:

$$|W|=N,\\ N\cos40°-mg=0,\\\space\\ N=|W|=\frac{mg}{\cos40°}=38\text{ N}.$$

The components of weight:

$$W_x=N\sin40°=25\text{ N}.$$

$$W_y=N\cos40°=29.4\text{ N}.$$
