If two friends blow two whistles at the same time, and the first whistle makes a sound whose frequency is twice that of the sound made by the other whistle.  Which sound will reach you first?

I would hear both simultaneously because the speed of sound is constant at the given temperature, different frequency would just produce different wavelength.
