Answer to Question #184633 in Physics for Andrea Kelsey

Question #184633

Assume that before collision the object A has a velocity of 10 m/s with a mass of 8 kg. Object B is at rest and has a mass same with object A. After the collision, Object A stops with a constant mass, but object B moves at a speed of 10 m/s and retained its mass. Identify the type of collision and find the total kinetic energy in joules (J) of the system, before and after collision.
