a crate of mass 100kg was lifted to a height of 75m. how much work was done on the crate? is this the same as the gravitational potential energy that the crate now has?

When the crate is lifted the work is done against the force of gravity. When work is done energy is transferred to the crate and it gains gravitational potential energy. Therefore, the work done is the same as the gravitational potential energy that the crate now has.
