The main parts of MRI machine is primary (main) magnet, gradient magnets, and the coil.

The main magnet generates the strong field and arranges atoms of our bodies according to the field lines. When the magnet is turned off, atoms of healthy and unhealthy part of bodies relax differently, thus making it possible to find tumors. The coil is the part of MRI machine that receives the electromagnetic radiation from the atoms and allows creating an image. Gradient magnets create a weaker field and are used to scan different organs.
