Bullet A, mass = 3 grams, is fired horizontally (v = 1200 m/s) across level ground. Bullet B, mass = 4 grams, is dropped (v = 0 m/s) from the same height at the same instant the first bullet is fired. Which bullet hits the ground first?

The motions in two perpendicular directions are independent. Thus, the horizontal speed does not have any affect on the vertical falling. Thus, since both bullets were released from the same height with zero speed (vertical), then they will hit the ground simultaneously.
