Show that when two sine waves of the same frequency, in phase with each other, and with amplitude of one wave twice the amplitude of the other and travelling in the same direction meet, they will interfere constructively
The word "Constructively" means than one wave will add to another. Indeed, look at separate waves. If these waves meet each other, we add height of every point of one wave to corresponding point of other wave: the amplitude will increase.
