"Headwind" means, that the velocity of the wind is opposite to the velocity of the airplane. Thus, in order to find the resultant speed, one should subtruct those velocities:


"v = v_{airplane} - v_{wind} = 200km\/h - 90km\/h = 110 km\/h"
