By definition, the impulse is the mass times velocity of the body:


p=mvp = mv

Thus, when the body of mass m=5kgm = 5kg obtain the velocity Δv=20m/s\Delta v = 20m/s it means the body recieves the impulse:


Δp=mΔv=5kg20m/s=100kgm/s\Delta p = m\Delta v = 5kg\cdot 20m/s = 100 kg\cdot m/s

Answer. 100 kg*m/s
