A body has an initial velocity of 45km/h and is accelerated uniformly at 2m/s2
until its velocity is 72km/h after which is brought to a rest with a uniform retardation, if the total remaining time is 12 seconds;
i. Sketch the velocity-time graph
ii. Calculate the total distance covered.

(ii) $S{tot}=\frac{V_1^2-V_0^2}{2a}+\frac{V_1\sdot t}{2}\approx180.9m$ , where$V_1=72km/h=20m/s,V_0=45km/h=12.5m/s,t=12s,a=2 m/s^2$
