So, for a convex mirror

$\frac{1}{u}+\frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{f}$

where

$u=-6 cm$ and $f=12cm$

We have

$\frac{1}{-6}+\frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{3}\to v=0.5cm$

The nature of the image is virtual, upright, reduced (smaller).
