The Optigone company that has the license for the "mirage" toy (http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ad7_1186119597) claim the image is a hologram - whereas I think it is formed as a 'virtual' image in mid air from two face to face parabolic mirrors. Is it truly a hologram?
