Solution Magnification of lens is

M=ffdoM=\frac{f}{f-d_{o}}

where dod_{o} is distance to object. So we have M=2M=2. Hence,

2f2do=f2f-2d_{o}=f

do=32f=3210=15cmd_{o}=\frac{3}{2}f=\frac{3}{2}\cdot 10=15\,cm
