Answer on Question #46856, Physics, Optics
How linearly polarized light converted into linear polarized light with different azimuth angle
Linearly polarized light could be converted into linear polarized light with different azimuth angle using half-wave plate. Due to anisotropy in crystals they able to rotate polarization plane.
In addition, we can use effect of change in polarization after reflection, so we can use special prism to rotate polarization, or use Faraday effect – rotation of polarization in crystals in magnetic field.
