If you look up from underneath toward the surface of the water in your aquarium, you may see an upside-down reflection of your pet fish in the surface of the water. Explain how this can happen.

Solution :-

When we look to to the aquarium from underneath the ray travel in the water and the incident angle equal to the critical angle("i=i_c)" so the total reflection occur and the ray that comes from the fish looks likes you see it in a mirror

Result :- it occurs due to the total reflection
