Can you help me with this question?

1.   Is it possible to photograph the image of a person in a mirror? If the person being photographed is 6 feet from the mirror and the camera is 10 feet from the mirror, from what distance should be the focus of the camera to produce a sharp image?

Yes, it is possible to photograph the image of a person in a mirror

The distance between the object and the mirror is 6 feet, i.e., d1=6 feetd_1 ​= 6 \space feet

Hence image distance also equals 6 feet, i.e., d1=6 feetd_1 ​= 6 \space feet

Also, the distance between the mirror and the camera is 10 feet, i.e., d2=10 feet.d_2 ​=10\space feet .

Hence the focus of the camera,

f=d1+d2=6+10=16 feetf=d_1 ​+d_2 ​=6+10=16\space feet
