Answer to Question #197213 in Optics for Daniel

Question #197213

What of using this method ???

solution

μ = sin i ÷ sin r→

1.5 = sin (60 / sin r →

1.5 =0.8660 / sin r →

1.5 ★ sin r = 0.866→

sin r = 0.866/1.5→

sin r = 0.5773→

r = sin inverse of 0.5773→

r = 35.2.

Answer

This is snell's law.

"I" Is incident angle.

And "r" is refraction angle.

Here "\\mu" is is the refractive index of medium through which light is passing from the air.

And at last refraction angle is calculated.
